    1. Take Hostage

      Trying to commit some crimes and you want to take a player as hostage? Follow this guide. Please ensure you use this feature inline with our rules (i.e. do not powergame or RDM). Consider using fear tactics, negotiating, etc. and releasing hostages over killing them. Taking a hostage is illegal, and may result in law enforcement repercussions Requirements A pistol or combat pistol Another player hostage Instructions Type [command]/takehostage[/command] when near another player. This will cause you to grab the player and take them hostage. Use your best negotiation skills. To release the hostage: Press the [key]G[/key] key. To kill the hostage: Press the [key]H[/key] key.
    2. Car Thief Thug

      Car Thief Thug is a unique mission which requires upfront payment to get a job in which you're given a location of a vehicle to steal, taking this vehicle to the drop off point, being a smooth effective middle man. Requirements At least $500 clean money. A weapon is recommended. 1 hour server-wide cool down.   This is an illegal activity and may alert law enforcement. Be careful! This is a dangerous activity and may result in you being attacked, shoot at, and (player) killed. Be careful! Instructions Go to the "Car Thief Thug" on the map. Walk into the marker and press [key]E[/key] to talk to the grand theft thug. You will be offered available requests, each different levels of difficulty: Low Risk: $500 - low risk thief mission Mid Risk: $1,000 - medium risk thief mission High Risk: $2,000 - high risk thief mission Select the mission with the [key]↑[/key] and [key]↓[/key], press [key]ENTER[/key] to pay and accept the mission. Head to the yellow destination on your map to the vehicle. NOTE: A GPS waypoint will be shown if you are in a vehicle. Get in the vehicle and leave the area, taking out any nearby enemies. NOTE: Be careful! Stealing the vehicle will alert nearby NPCs who may attack you and alert law enforcement. Head to the blue destination drop off point with the vehicle. NOTE: You have approximately 15 minutes to drop the vehicle off before you fail the mission, a timer is not displayed. Drop the vehicle off at the destination, an NPC will pay you based on the risk, vehicle importance and vehicle condition. The NPC will take the vehicle from you and continue it's journey. Notes Pay Table Low Risk: $1,500 - $3,000 marked bills Mid Risk: $3,000 - $4,000 marked bills High Risk: $5,000 - $6,000 marked bills
    3. Car Dealership

The car dealership allows you to purchase a range of vehicles to suit your needs at a price. Instructions Purchasing a vehicle There are two main ways you can purchase a 'new vehicle': Via a vehicle dealer (recommended) Purchasing a vehicle via a vehicle dealer can offer you a better price, modifications, enhancements and a better roleplay experience. You can typically make contact with a vehicle dealer by: Visiting the dealership in person Contacting the dealer directly if you know their phone number Sending out a tweet with /tweet Sending out an ad with /ad Asking in the #ic-advertisement Discord Channel Via the dealership directly Purchasing a vehicle via the dealership directly will only sell you a stock vehicle at the retail price of the vehicle, with no modifications, enhancements. Visit Premium Deluxe Motorsports Walk into the blue marker Press E to access the menu, you will be taken to the vehicle catalogue. NOTE: If you are a vehicle dealer, you will be entitled to discounted pricing. Navigate through the Vehicle Imports catalogue to find your vehicle. Hover over the vehicle to see the  prices. Use A and D to rotate the camera Use Left and Right arrow buttons to change the vehicle's color Click on Purchase to purchase the vehicle as it looks (color & livery included) Press ESC to exit without purchasing a vehicle. Once purchased, your vehicle will be issued with a new plate & you can drive away with it. Selling a vehicle Via a vehicle dealer (recommended) Selling your vehicle via a vehicle dealer can offer you a better price, and better roleplay experience. You can typically make contact with a vehicle dealer by: Visiting the dealership in person Contacting the dealer directly if you know their phone number Sending out a tweet with /tweet Sending out an ad with /ad Asking in the #ic-advertisement Discord Channel Via the dealership directly This section is still being written. Via transfer ownership You can transfer ownership to any other player by using the /transfervehicle command. Organize a trade with a player Have the player give you the cash of what you value your vehicle at Use /transfervehicle <Player ID> "<Plate>"  (include quotes if your plate has spaces) You should receive a notification that this was successful. If a player scams you via this method, please report them as this is strictly against our rules.[
    4. Bolingbroke Penitentiary (Prison)

      This article is still a work in progress. It may contain missing, outdated or inaccurate information. Discretion is advised. Bolingbroke Penitentiary is the state's prison located in Grand Senora Desert which is ran by San Andreas Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation. Prison Activities There are a number of activities which can be completed by prisoners while in the confines. Prison Work Prison work can be completed by heading to the Sector 6 (South) Prison Work. Completing prison work will pay out between $13 and $21. Visitation Visitation can be accessed by East building. Visitors must be guided in with an authorized officer to let them into the prison complex. They can access it from the opposite entrance.
    5. Tuner Laptop

      The tuner laptop is a special item which can be used by mechanics to alter the performance of vehicles. Custom vehicles are currently not supported and adjusting them may result in worse off performance. Requirements Tuner Laptop Item (given by an Admin) Instructions Modifying vehicle's performance may impact the vehicle. Once you have reflashed an ECU, there is no way to get the default vehicle's values back. Be careful! Sit in the vehicle you wish to modify Open your character's inventory Drag the tuner laptop onto the Use button The laptop will open up for tuning options. Set the values you wish to modify: Rev timing, ignition timing, exhaust release & fuel mixing: is a code, will adjust the performance & top speed. Other values will adjust as per their title. Click 'Reflash' to save the values, the laptop will inform you of the detected performance. Click 'Default' to reset the values of the laptop. This will not reset to the default performance of the vehicle. Tuning Options Rev Timing (Slower-Faster)* Ignition Timing (Slower-Faster)* Exhaust Release (Normal-High)* Fuel Mixing (Normal-High)* Gear Change (Normal-Fast) Braking (Rear-Front) Drive Train (Rear-Front) Break Strength (Weak-Strong) Balancing (*) Some parts of the tuning laptop to increase performance is a fine art (minigame) in which you must be able to find the perfect balance. Rev timing, ignition timing, exhaust release & fuel mixing must be centered at a "sweet spot" in order to maximize performance. Finding the right balance for your set vehicle will modify the performance of the car by these categories: Worse - Poor - Average - Good - Excellent Each vehicle has it's own set balance, so once you find the balance for one vehicle, you should note down the sliders for that vehicle. These values are not made public, and should be recorded by the player once found the perfect balance. Why? This is to give mechanics and car enthusiasts the advantage and a minigame of sorts to find the right balance, as they would in real life. Making mechanics more important to get these values or 'trade secrets'.
    6. Properties

      Properties can be purchased around San Andreas which can range from apartments to houses. Requirements Enough money to either purchase or rent the property. Instructions Purchasing or Renting A New Property Drive to a marked property on the map. Property for sale/rent is identified with a marker while already bought/rented property is identified by a marker. Walk into the Blue ground marker in front of the door to the property. Press E to access the options menu for the property. Select either to purchase or rent the property. Purchasing a property will require you to pay a full price up front. Renting will require you to pay on the property monthly (in-game months). You will receive a prompt once you successfully buy or rent. Entering Your Property Once you own a property, leave the ground marker then re-enter it. A new options menu will appear, letting you to select either to enter the property. Leaving Your Property Once in a home, you can leave it by going to the front door, into the Blue ground circle and press E when prompted to leave. Selling or Un-renting Your Property If you had bought the property, you will have the option to sell it at 50% of its sale price. If you rented the property, you will have an option to move out, receiving no funds in return.
    7. Farming: Weed

      Farming marijuana allows you to have another active source of income without needing a job. Cannabis Leaf is processed to Marijuana and then sold at to NPCs or Smoke On The Water. This is an illegal activity and certain actions may alert law enforcement. Be careful! Requirements None. Anyone can do this. Instructions Go to the "Weed Field" marked on the map. Find a weed plant and press [key]E[/key] to harvest the Cannabis plant. You will get 1 x Cannabis Leaf for each patch. You will need a minimum of 3 bags of wheat to convert to flour. Go to the "Weed Processing" marked on the map, it's inside a garage. At the table inside of the garage, you'll be prompted to process your weed, press [key]E[/key] to process 3 x Cannabis Leaf to 1 x Marijuana. Sell Legally (Lower Profit, Little Risk) Take the Marijuana to "Smoke On The Water" (Vespucci Beach) on the map. Sell Illegally (Higher Profit, More Risk) Walk up to any NPC, a prompt will appear to sell drugs, press [key]E[/key] to attempt a sale. The NPC will either purchase the drugs, be not interested or not interested and notify the police. Notes Legalities You can only carry X amount of weed on you which is classified as "personal", any more and you may be charged with manufacturing or distribution. Consult the penal code. NPC Sale Chance Successful Sale: 10% Not Interested: 70% Not Interested + Reported To Police: 30% Pay Table Marijuana (Smoke On The Water): $160 Marijuana (Random NPC Sale): $200 - $300
    8. Gym / Muscle Sands

      This article is still a work in progress. It may contain missing, outdated or inaccurate information. Discretion is advised. Muscle Sands is Vespucci Beach's gym offering all you need to get ripped! Requirements Gym Membership to use equipment Instructions Gym Membership You will need membership before using the gym. Gym Shop Go to the Muscle Sands, Vespucci Beach. Walk up to the blue marker next to the door. Select the "Shop" option and press [key]Enter[/key]. Select the item you would like to purchase using the arrow keys. Press [key]Enter[/key] to purchase or [key]Backspace[/key] to return. Gym Usage Usage of the gym area requires a Gym Membership card. With a gym membership, approach any marker and press E to animate.   Using the gym currently does not increase any skills. This feature is in development. Bike Hire Go to the south-west of Muscle Sands. Stand on the blue marker and press [key]E[/key] to hire a bike. Select an option for a bike using the arrow keys. Press [key]Enter[/key] to make your selection. Cash will be taken off your character at the specified price and you will spawn on the bike.   You do not need to return the bike, it will be collected automatically when you disconnect.     9. Vehicle Speed Limiter (Cruise Control)

      Just like cruise control, kind of... the vehicle speed limiter allows you to set your current speed as a limit. So you can easily decelerate, brake and accelerate without ever going over your set limit. Handy for avoiding those speeding tickets. Requirements A working vehicle Instructions While in a vehicle, reach the speed you wish to set. To set: Press the Up Arrow to set your limit. Your set speed will highlight green. To unset: Press the Up Arrow to unset the limit. Your set speed will no longer be highlighted green.  
    10. Store Robberies

      Most stores with an attendant/clerk can be robbed at gun point, this includes gas stations, convenience stores, clothing and gun stores. This is an illegal activity and will alert law enforcement. Be careful! Requirements A gun Instructions Find any "Shop" on the map labeled with the shopping cart. Point your gun at the clerk to begin the robbery. The clerk will go into fear before drawing money. At this point, a silent alarm will be triggered notifying online law enforcement. The clerk will begin to grab money from the cash register before throwing it on the ground. Collect the bag of cash dropped on the ground. Flee & leave the area. Notes Tips Cash registers do not hold much cash and will only reward small amounts, as per pay table. A mask is highly recommended to conceal your identity as your image will be visible to police responding. Each store has an individual cooldown of 2 hours while they restock. There is no set minimum law enforcement to rob a shop. Even clothing stores can be robbed. Pay Table Bag of Cash: $300 - $1000
    11. Farming: Wheat

      Farming wheat allows you to have another active source of income without needing a job. Wheat is processed to flour and then sold at H.J. Silos. Requirements None. Anyone can do this. Instructions Go to the "Wheat Field" marked on the map. Find a patch of wheat and press E to begin harvesting it. You will get 1 x Bag of Wheat for each patch. You will need a minimum of 3 bags of wheat to convert to flour. Go to the "Wheat Processing" marked on the map. At the front door of the building, you'll be prompted to process your wheat, press E to process 3 x Bag of Wheat to 1 x Flour. Take the items you receive to "H.J. Silos" on the map. Walk up to the door and press E to sell Flour. H.J. Silos will pay you for the flour based in the pay table below. Notes Pay Table Flour: $90
    12. Easter Egg Hunt

      Introduction The Easter Egg Hunt is a yearly event in which players can find Easter eggs scattered throughout the map for money. Event Period Starts: Easter Friday Ends: 7 days later How to Hunt Open your map and look for the pink "Easter Event" Search for a shiny green glowing egg within the pink radius. When you find an egg: press E on the egg to open it. ??? Profit! Event Tips There are 10 (ten) Easter Eggs at any one time. When you collect one, another spawns. Be aware that it is still illegal to trespass and you can get in in-character trouble! The eggs are only visible to you, no one can steal your eggs. The eggs are physical and can be hit, so be careful not to drive into them! The eggs can be on the ground or rooftops. You can earn $1000 to $2000 every time you collect one.
    13. Hunger & Thirst

      Just like real life, you'll need to eat and drink to maintain your health. You can check the status of your health, hunger and thirst on your HUD by the indicators on your screen. Starving & Dehydration If your hunger and thirst gets down too low you will begin to hurt (downing your health), while you won't die, your health will be severely impacted meaning small amounts of damage may kill you.     14. Car Washes

      If you're looking to clean your vehicle for a cheap price, you can take it to a car wash. Requirements $20 Cash A vehicle Instructions Drive to a marked car wash on the map. This can be identified with as "Car Wash" with the  marker. Drive into the ground marker. Press E to wash the vehicle for $20. Your vehicle will be cleaned. Note: This will not remove damages or repair your vehicle. You'll receive a prompt confirming the vehicle has been washed.
    15. Chopping Vehicles

      Chopping vehicles is an illegal activity which allows you to scrap any vehicle to receive some parts for it which you can sell at Stanley's Car Parts. This is an illegal activity and may alert law enforcement. Be careful! Requirements None. Anyone can do this. Instructions Source a vehicle you wish to chop. Take the vehicle to the designated "Chop Shop" on the map. Drive the vehicle into the marker on the ground. Press E to Chop the vehicle. Note: there is a 20% chance the police will be notified of this activity. The vehicle will take roughly 65 seconds to fully chop. Take the items you receive to "Stanley's Car Parts" on the map. Stanley will pay you for the goods based in the pay table below. Notes Locations Chop Location: /postal 3048 Stanley's Car Parts (Sell Point): /postal 1022 Pay Table Battery: $50 Low-end Radio: $94 High-end Radio: $350 Stock Rim: $150 High-end Rim: $285 Airbag: $125
    16. Recycling Bottles

      Recycling is a very low source of income, which is ideal for homeless characters. Requirements None. Anyone can do this. Instructions Search for bottles through trash cans throughout the map. These have a 20% chance of giving you bottles. Take these bottles to one of the Sell Bottles points on the map, indicated by the . Enter the area to sell bottles & press E to sell the bottles you have in your inventory. Profit!
    17. Stress

      What is stress? Stress is caused by "stressful situations", this will impact your view & movement by making you "jittery" (screen shake & uncontrollable spasms/movements). What causes stress? Holding a weapon (except melee) Shooting a weapon Aiming melee , hitting with melee or getting hit by melee Low health Skydiving Lurking/crouching/stealthing around Note: LEO characters will receive stress at half the rate.     18. Launder Lady

      The Launder Lady is a unique mission which allows you to launder available money in the system to convert it to clean bills by visiting a drop off point. Requirements At least $1,000 marked bills / dirty money / black money Available capital on the server Instructions Go to the "Launder Lady" on the map. Walk into the marker and press E to talk to the Launder Lady. You will be asked how much you want to swap & drop off: Small: $1,000 Medium: $5,000 Big: $10,000 NOTE: You can see the available capital within the server. Select with the ↑ and ↓, press ENTER to accept the mission. Head to the marked GPS on your map to the drop off. Enter the drop off marker until you see the prompt. Press E to drop off & make the exchange. You will receive 3/4 in clean money, and the other 1/4 will be taken as payment for the exchange. Notes Capital Capital is defined as the amount of available money the Launder Lady has to swap with you. This regenerates over time, and the Launder Lady may let you know that it's too risky right now. TIP: This is only one way to swap marked bills for clean money. There are other ways you can convert money.
